Neymar transferred to Al-Hilal from Paris St-Germain

Brazil forward Neymar has joined Al-Hilal of the Saudi Pro League, after 6 years playing in French champions club Paris St-Germain (PSG). It has been reported that the Brazilian player transfer fee for a two year contract is worth about 90m euros ($98m), and this amount would be a record for the league. Meanwhile, Neymar has been offered a two-year contract with an annual salary around $100 million, six times the amount he was on at PSG.
Neymar mentioned in the official statement, “Al Hilal is a giant club with fantastic fans, and it is the best in Asia. This gives me a feeling that it is the right decision for me at the right time with the right club. I love winning and scoring goals and I plan to continue doing that in Saudi Arabia and with AlHilal.”
Al Hilal's chairman, Fahad bin Saad, added Neymar is "a global icon" and "an unstoppable attacking force" in welcoming him to the club.
